Loyalty is one of the fundamentals of my business, and it’s very important in the industry as a whole. In fact, loyalty is considered a fiduciary duty in real estate. Whether you’re working as an agent or as an investor, keeping your client’s best interest in mind is a must. And it goes both ways. If you’re loyal to your clients, they are more likely to give you repeat business and recommend you to their friends and family.
Flexibility is key
It’s no secret that when it comes to flipping houses, things don’t always go as planned. Timelines can be disrupted, schedules get rearranged and, sometimes, people make mistakes. We are ALL human – it happens! When you’re working with sellers and contractors, being adaptable and flexible from the beginning makes things easier for everyone involved.
Hard work pays off
From putting myself through school to working multiple jobs while raising my two sons, I’m no stranger to hard work. While I’ve always had a passion and vision for home design, it’s grit and hard work that got me where I am today. If you want to be successful in this industry, you have to be willing to put in a little blood, sweat and tears first. The days while flipping houses are long, but the reward is worth it!
Empathy over ego
In the cash home buying industry, we often encounter sellers at a vulnerable stage in their life. They may be experiencing financial hardship, or even mourning the death of a loved one. When we meet someone who is struggling, we empathize with their situation and aim to handle the process with compassion and understanding. It’s definitely a judgment-free zone.
